5 Halloween Costumes in Your Closet Right Now

Halloween is quickly approaching! If you're like me, you probably have no idea what your going to be! I have gathered a few ideas to help you (and me) come up with a killer costume with the things you already have in your closet. These outfits are so easy, fun, and cost almost nothing!

1. Leopard

Leopard print is SO in right now. Look in your closet, do you have this print in any type of form. A dress, a top, a skirt, or even a jacket? Pair it with make shift ears, a tail, and some whiskers. BAM, you're the feline queen of the jungle! Want to take this to the next level? Read this makeup tutorial to add some extra glam. (shown below)

Supplies needed: leopard print article of clothing, make shift ears & tail, add makeup for the complete look!

2. Skeleton

Do you have any old black leggings or pants and a black long sleeve tee? Grab some white paint or fabric paint if you have any and lets get started. You're going to need a reference from the internet or some type of picture to go by. Don't worry about making it perfect, to me the messier the more realistic it looks. If you want to be extreme, add some cool makeup or a wig.

Supplies needed: all black outfit, white fabric paint, face paint for the complete look!

3. Pineapple

This one is super fun! Do you have an old yellow T-shirt or dress? (Pro tip: if it has a design, turn it inside out). You‘ll need a black sharpie & some construction paper. Take an old headband and glue the “leaves” for your pineapple crown. Then, you’ll need to draw the spikes on your pineapple. Again, don’t worry about making things perfect, to me it looks more realistic when things are off centered or lopsided!

Supplies needed: yellow article of clothing, black marker, green construction paper, and a head band!

4. Georgie from IT

This one is great if you can steal something out of your husband, brother, or friends closet! A lot of guys have old High School hoodies or random sweatshirts in general (or if they’re super fancy, they’ll have a yellow raincoat). Once you find one, you’ll just need to pair it with some type of sneaker. All that’s needed next is a red balloon!

This is totally off subject, but I really do not like this movie. LOL it creeps me out so bad! But I know I needed to add something in for all you IT lovers out there!

Supplies needed: Yellow hoodie or raincoat, converse or some type of sneakers, and a red balloon!

5. The Bachelorette

To me, this is the EASIEST of them all! Pick any formal type dress or even a long maxi skirt. Pair it with some heels & jewelry. Then, head to dollar tree and buy $1 fake roses (or if you wanna be super extra, get real ones). That’s all folks, you’re the next Hannah B. So easy and different! I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone use this idea.

Supplies needed: long dress, heels & jewelry, & roses!
